Thunder Matt's Saloon
The Bible tells us the story of the persistent widow. She had a just cause and begged the evil judge for justice. The evil judge would not grant her justice, so she asked him again and again and again. Everyday the widow pestered the evil judge for justice and the man finally relented. He was so tired of the woman's nagging that he finally gave her what she wanted. And so we learn that persistence is a virtue.
What does this have to do with the Cubs Blog Army? Well, substitute the goodfella's at Thunder Matt's Saloon for the persistent widow and myself for the evil (lazy) judge. These guys have been after me all season long to get off my evil (lazy) butt and add them. And then they sent me another letter on Friday.
Let us know if there's anything we can do to help persuade you to do an update in the near future. A nice muffin basket, hiring a goon to pull a "Tonya Harding" and take out Neifi Perez's kneecap, nude pictures of Bea Arthur, you name it and we'll make it happen.
To which, I replied...
If you'll 'Tonya Harding' Neifi Perez... I'll add you :)
In my inbox today:
OK so we nixed the tire iron plan and made a few phone calls to Hendry to get Neifi deported to Michigan. Does that work?
So here we are. Presenting the fella's who wanted in the CBA so badly that they were responsible for shipping Neifi! out of town. And anyone who does such a great service for Cubdom deserves a spot in the CBA Hall of Fame. (The next spot will be awarded to the blog that manages to actually run Dusty, Hendry, or McPhail out of their office.)
Thunder Matt's Saloon
Thunder Matt's has been blogging for four months and doing a good job of it. Plus, they're extra cool because I love Matt Murton and their blog pays homage to the redhead. Go give it a look-see.
