A Season with the Cubs
How long have you been a Cubs fan? What do you take for granted? How does someone who is new to all this Goat and Ivy stuff view the game, the field, the history, the team? Well, lets spend
A Season with the Cubs - Tom Young
"I grew up in Colorado (before they had an MLB team), and somehow grew up a Mets fan. Can't really explain that one. Moved to San Francisco, then Cincinnati, then Houston, and just 6 months ago to Chicago.
A die-hard baseball fan, and a lover of classic ballparks, I have thrown myself head-over-heels into the Cubs and Wrigleyville. As a new bleed-Cubbie-blue fan, I'm going to track my first season in Wrigleyville, spring training to the world series, and show what it's like to learn the emotions of a Cubs fan through complete immersion. I intend to post every game, and follow the general trend of learning what it is to be a Cubs fan." - Tom Young
Like the Cubs' season, A Season with the Cubs started a little over a month ago. His first post proclaims that Nomar has reported to camp. He then writes about his experiences trying to get tickets. There are posts about injuries, games, players, and managers. Go check it out, its interesting.
