Cub Town at BaseballToaster.com
I spend entirely too much time trolling the CBA and other Cubs Blogs. As a result, today's happenings feel a bit more like a funeral than a birth. Today, I announce another birth, but one which poses a lot of questions that I don't have the answers to.
I give you...
Cub Town - Alex Ciepley, Derek Smart
Cubtown is written by two former Cub Reporters: Derek and Alex. Both are excellent writers and have joined a new site, baseballtoaster.com, featuring many other great writers, most of which used to reside at all-baseball.com.
In a related move, Christian Ruzich, proprietor of All-Baseball.com has announced a merger with the Most Valuable Network. His announcement is short on details, but MVN already has a Cubs affiliate Behind the Ivy. Thus, I don't know what the future of these blogs will be, but I do know that I have heard about no writer retirements, so all of your favorite writers will still be posting somewhere... and that is the crux of the matter. The writers are all staying.
I'll update this post with an RSS feed for Cub Town as soon as one becomes available... which I have heard will be this afternoon.
